and i thought it probable that there had been more of the last
but being socially intelligent i changed the subject fast
we had a card made of gold, could have bought us anything
but there was no time before we had to get up and sing

the next few days during shifting weather
enjoying the sun or hoping it would get better
i saw two people kissing at the funeral
